- Born and raised in Easton, Pa, I started working in the Horticulture industry when I turned 16. I worked golf course maintenance at Whitetail Golf Course in Bath, PA. At the time, it was a brand new course. When I wasn't walking up and down new fairways with a five gallon bucket and a sod pin picking shale out of the fairway, my time consisted of getting new tee boxes to grow grass. For the next 7 summers, I worked for a lawn maintenance firm. It was during this time that I started to fall in love with the industry. Little did I know that this was just the tip of the iceberg. I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Ornamental Horticulture & Environmental Design from Delaware Valley College in Doylestown, PA. While there, I did a two summer internship at Plantique, which is a design/build firm located in Allentown, PA. When I graduated, I moved to the Charlottesville area and took a job with a landscape contractor in town as a job foreman. From there, I took a design/management position at Snow's Garden & Landscape Center. I love coming to work every day! I currently reside at Lake Monticello with my beautiful wife, son, and daughter.
